Items you can expect to see on this page all refer to being Anti-Something, Including:
Which Anti-Virus software you use will depend on weather you want to pay for it, or not. Personally I prefer to pay for mine as overall I think you get better protection, more advanced features, a faster response to new attacks and someone to blame should it all go pear shaped.
If You Want To Pay For Your Anti-Virus Then My Recommendations Are:
And this is my personal order of preference.
If You Want Free Anti-Virus Then:

Spyware has to be the scourge of the Internet, these trojans are the worst kind of viruses and most, if not all current anti-virus products are unable to detect, let alone prevent, or delete them from your system.
How Do You Know if Your PC Has Been Infected by Spyware
Believe me you will know, your browser will be hijacked at almost every click and you will rarely end up where you want to be, your browser will most likely be drawn to one of the below sites, which are all search engines, in addition you will get numerous other unwanted browser windows spawned.
- Or one of the 1000+ CWS affiliates of CoolWebSearch.
How Do I Get Rid of This SpyWare?
Thanks to the people at Merijn.org that has been made quite easy, they have a utility called CWShredder, this will remove all traces of the CWS trojan and variants, this is the most common SpyWare trojan at present.
Then you should install a piece of software called SpyWareBlaster. This will monitor your system for future SpyWare attacks and prevent them getting their hooks into your browser. SpyWareBlaster is developed by Javacool Software.
If you have any problems installing either of the above applications you may need to install this VB runtime patch.
Finally you should also install another great piece of Anti-SpyWare called Spybot Search & Destroy, I have personally found this to be the most usefull of all the Anti-SpyWare utilities. If you prefer you can find out more about this software at the SpyBotSD Web site, or install it from there as well.
Other SpyWare Detection And Removal Methods:
HijackThis: A general hijack detector and remover. HijackThis examines certain key areas of the Registry and Hard Drive, lists their contents and will delete them if you want it to. These are areas which are used by both legitimate programmers and hijackers. As a result, false positives are quite likely, so make certain before deleting anything, the forums are a good place to ask, there is also a tutorial.
StartUpList: Generates a detailled text log of every start up program, much like HijackThis, so the same precautions apply to its use.
Other Anti-SpyWare Resources:
